One thing to think about is your surveillance system. It's important to check see if the cameras you have in place continue to meet your needs or whether you need to consider installing cameras with better megapixel technology to provide you with clearer images. If you have a CCTV system in place, you should assess how often you review video footage? Is it being reviewed at all, or do you need install a network video recorder to provide you with the capability to easily call up and view video of a specific incident?

Also, you should check to determine the last time the locks were changed on exterior doors. Do you keep all side/back entrances locked from the outside to prevent unwanted intruders? And, have you reviewed your access control system to ensure you have deleted former employees from the system? From time to time access control systems have software updates; check with your system integrator to find out if there are any that may be beneficial to your company.
